Egg freezing cost

Below are the costs associated with elective egg freezing, meaning that you are choosing to freeze your eggs for non-medical reasons. Please note in Australia, Medicare rebates only apply for egg freezing due to medical fertility preservation.  Please refer to our sister clinic City Fertility, for the fees associated with egg freezing for medical reasons.

Please note that the above fees do not include the Private Hospital fee or Anaesthetist fee for the egg collection.  These fees vary depending on which clinic you are attending.  Please contact the patient services team who will be able to give you an estimate.  These fees need to be paid separately to any payment plan.   

Pay online

This option allows you to pay for your treatment via our secure Commonwealth Bank payment platform. All payments are required to be paid in full on the day you commence your treatment medications or day one of your cycle. To make an online payment you will need to know your unique identifier (C code) which can be located in your fee estimate.

Please note that humm90 is only available for Chill Egg Freeze’s fees and cannot be used to pay for any external provider fees such as hospital, anaesthetist, pharmacy, and specialist fees.

Storage fees

The payment options available for the storage of eggs include:

  • Monthly Direct Debit: $40 per month
  • Annual payment: $540 per year

Please note that storage fees are charged per gamete type in storage.

We currently use Ezypay, a direct debit platform, to manage all of our storage payments.  We appreciate that not all patients like to use direct debit as a payment method. We therefore offer an alternative for patients to pay upfront on a yearly basis for storage, this fee is slightly higher due to the additional management and follow-up required to keep your account up to date.
